The aCoin Voucher can be purchased online, in-store at any of our Vendor’s or by doing a cardless cash deposit at any ATM nationwide using your unique reference number. The aCoin Voucher can then be redeemed for various goods and services at any of our Merchant’s accepting the aCoin Voucher.
Kindly note that there is a limit of R100.00 per month in voucher purchases for non-verified customers. If you would like to purchase an aCoin Voucher for more than R100.00, you will need to verify your account here.

To redeem your aCoin Voucher, simply login to the Merchant’s website or mobile app and insert your unique 16 digit PIN.

If your aCoin Voucher is declined, please check if the voucher has not expired and that the merchant accepts aCoin Vouchers. If the issue persists, please contact the Merchant and check if they are experiencing any issues with their system.

Yes, you can purchase an aCoin Voucher as a gift for someone else and they will be able to redeem the voucher using the 16 digit PIN.

Anyone can use the aCoin Voucher, provided they have a valid voucher PIN. It is your responsibility to keep your voucher PIN safe.

The validity period of your aCoin Voucher is 36 months from date of purchase.

Any remaining balance on an expired aCoin Voucher is forfeited. We recommend using the full value of the voucher before it expires.

No, you will need to purchase an additional aCoin Voucher.

Yes, non-South African citizens can still verify their account provided they meet the necessary identification and verification requirements.

- Enter your South African ID Number and accept the consent clause
- In the event that you are not successfully verified, kindly upload a valid and clear copy of your ID or Passport and Proof of Residence.
- Select "Start Verification"
It is important that you associate your ID with only one phone number.

There are no upfront costs to become a Vendor for aCoin Vouchers. However, there may be some nominal fees associated with the sale and distribution of the aCoin Vouchers. After you have successfully registered as a Vendor, we will build a tailor made and detailed information sheet on fees and commissions associated with accepting aCoin Vouchers.

Replenishing aCoin Vouchers at your store is simple as you will have access to your very own Vendor Dashboard which includes making a Deposit for more aCoin Vouchers. Here you may simply deposit funds into your account and continue to distribute the aCoin Vouchers to your customers.
